Hunan Miluo Police: 8 People Detained for Staging Vulgar Scenes in Public; Ringleader Criminally Held

On June 26, the Miluo City Public Security Bureau in Hunan Province issued a police notice:

In response to a video circulating online recently showing "several people parading two women through the streets in iron cages," our bureau launched an immediate investigation.

The investigation found that He (male, 38 years old), seeking online traffic and improper financial gain, had since June 22, 2026, organized eight individuals — including a person named Gong — to repeatedly stage vulgar scenes at public venues across our city. They manufactured sensational online topics, violated public order and good customs, and caused severe negative social impact.

At present, the public security authorities have criminally detained the ringleader and organizer He in accordance with the law, and have administratively detained Gong and seven other individuals. The case is currently under further investigation.
