Cheng Chaogong, Chief Researcher at Tongcheng Research Institute, said in an interview with The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) that the recent flexible implementation of autumn breaks across multiple regions based on local conditions is a continuation of the holiday supply reform in the cultural tourism market. In the past two years, from extending the May Day and Spring Festival holidays to the current primary and secondary school spring and autumn breaks, the stimulating effect of optimized holiday supply on cultural tourism consumption has been preliminarily verified in the first half of this year. Building on the results of spring break implementation earlier this year, regions are gradually optimizing based on previous experience, making holiday arrangements more flexible and diverse, which will further unlock family parent-child travel consumption demand.
